Trustel Mobile LLC runs this website and the shop behind it. This notice says what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to get it changed or removed. If anything here is unclear, ask us — the address is at the bottom.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, phone number (and a second number if you give one), email address, delivery address in Jerusalem, what you ordered, and any note you add.
- When you book a repair: the same contact details, the phone model, what is wrong with it, and — where you give them — the serial or IMEI number and the purchase date.
- The unlock code for your phone, when you tell us it has one. We ask because a phone we cannot unlock is a phone we cannot test after the repair. It is used for that and nothing else, it is not shared outside the shop, and it goes when the job record goes. If you would rather not put it in the form, leave it out and tell us at the counter.
- When you send feedback or a bug report: your message, and your name and email if you choose to add them.
- When you ask to hear when a phone is back: your email address and the phone you are waiting for. We email you once when it is back in stock.
- Automatically: ordinary web-server information such as your IP address, which we use to keep the site working and to stop abuse and spam submissions.
We do not take card numbers. Card details are typed into Stripe's own checkout and never reach this website.
How we use it
To process and deliver orders, to carry out repairs and honour warranties, to reply to you, to send order and repair confirmations and receipts, to keep the business records we are required to keep, and to prevent fraud and abuse. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell personal information to anybody.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers we need to run the shop:
- Cloudflare — hosts this site and the database behind the orders and repairs, and runs the "are you a person" check on the order and repair forms (Turnstile). That check looks at signals from your browser to tell a person from an automated program; we only receive whether it passed.
- Stripe — takes card payments. Stripe receives what it needs to process the payment and handles your card details under its own privacy policy.
- Google — Workspace for our email, and Google Sheets as a backup copy of the order and repair book.
- Google Analytics — see below.
Some of these providers are outside Israel, including in the United States, so running the shop involves your information being handled abroad. We share information with anyone else only where the law requires it.
Analytics and what your browser stores
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets cookies and collects usage data. If you would rather not be counted, most browsers can block cookies for a site, and Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Analytics everywhere.
Separately, the site keeps a few things in your own browser's storage — not on our servers and not visible to us: what is in your basket, and whether you have asked to read prices in shekels or dollars. Clearing your browsing data clears them.
How long we keep it
Order and repair records are kept as long as we need them for warranty, accounting and legal purposes, and no longer. A phone's unlock code is kept with the repair job and removed with it. Feedback is kept only as long as it is useful to act on. A request to hear when a phone is back is kept after we have emailed you, so we know which phones people are waiting for; ask and we will remove it.
Your choices
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete what we are not required to keep. Write to [email protected] and say what you would like — we may need to check who you are first, which is a protection for you rather than an obstacle.
Children
This site is meant for adults buying phones. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us details, tell us and we will remove them.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
